Super Hero Smoothie

Yes, that is spinach in my blender. You may have seen recipes before for this smoothie, called Green Monster smoothie or Simple Green smoothie.I made up my own name for it and changed a few ingredients, you can do the same with your favorite fruits or juice instead of the milk. If my fruits are frozen I leave out the crushed ice and add more liquid (milk or juice) to thin it down. Yes, I know, I was the same about the spinach, but I swear to you, you cannot taste it when it’s blended with all the other fruits, experiment with frozen and fresh fruits.Make your own recipe to what you have on hand. I know smoothie’s are nothing new, we’ have been making them for years, but this Spinach thing is new to me and I love it.So try it and see which Super Hero you feel like when you whisk out the door. What a great way to get a cool, refreshing and nutritious drink for breakfast, lunch, snack or dessert. We all know the benefits from spinach, so really try it, you’ll like it.
